Our facility is responsible for the care, control, and custody of Caswell county inmates, staff, and visitors. Inmates are only held with courtesy and respect. The Caswell County Detention Center is operated under general supervision of the Sheriff of Caswell County. This facility does not set bond amounts, modify court dates, render verdicts, or determine punishment. If you have questions concerning these issues, contact the person or agencies responsible for these activities. 

Currently, all visitation for inmates from family and friends is done remotely.

Things to know:  

• The cost is 30 cents per minute with a 15 minute max 
• Each Inmate is allowed one visit a day.  
• Visitation will be Monday –Friday 12-3pm for ALL Pods    
• Last visit is scheduled at 2:30       
• Visits MUST be scheduled at least a day ahead of time. You have until midnight the day before to schedule it.  
• Visits are first come first served. The time is removed from being an option  when it has already been taken. 
• If the visitor has ANY issues with setting up an account or with a visit they need to contact Pay Tel for help. Pay Tel can be reached via live Chat from Pay Tel Connect App or by calling 1-800-729-8355.    

Visitors should conduct themselves appropriately– No driving during visit, no  revealing clothing, no exposing body parts, no nightgowns/lingerie allowed. Visitors will be banned or restricted for violations. Inmates who conduct themselves inappropriately will be subject to disciplinary actions and/or  privileges will be taken away.
