Sheriff

Meet the sheriff

Sheriff Tony Durden Jr

My tenure will focus on the following three pillars:

Community: The Sheriff’s Office will continue to work tirelessly to keep our families safe.

Character: I will not sacrifice ethics for political gain; the Sheriff’s Office must always be the standard bearer for morals and values. Transparency is a key factor.

Commitment: I will continue to be a strong protector for every individual’s rights as outlined in the constitution of the United States of AmericaI consider it the highest honor of my professional life to have been appointed Sheriff by the Caswell County Board of Commissioners to fill the unexpired portion of Sheriff Welch’s term of office and then to be elected by the citizens of Caswell County.
